Are you a real estate agent who wants to boost your commissions?

If yes, then this is the right blog for you! I will share a digital marketing guide for real estate agents in the following article based on my experience.

Too many real estate agents make mistakes that lead them to lose the chance of making a sale and earning a commission. It is not easy to sell a property, but it is not rocket science; you need the right approach to succeed.

Over the past 24 years, I have been working as a strategic investment advisor and Mortgage Broker for 10 years. I have helped my clients buy the right real estate property that generates passive income & long-term wealth.

I understand how the mindset of the buyer works. In the following section, I will mention what the buyer is looking for & how you can pitch the property to the buyer & earn more commissions.

Comprehensive Digital Marketing Guide for Real Estate Agents for 2023

  1. Understand your target audience:

This is something that is called a buyer persona in the field of digital marketing. Here, you must know who will be an ideal customer for real estate property. You can segment the buyers into the following groups:

  • First-time homebuyers
  • Vacation homebuyers
  • Luxury property buyers
  • Retired professionals

As the name implies, you can segment the buyer based on your real estate property requirement. For example, a retired person would want a place to rest and live without the hustle & bustle of city life. On the other hand, first-time homebuyers would be the ones who would have more questions, looking for finance may be or wanting a home to settle in with their family.

You can list predefined requirements the buyer might have and ask them more questions to identify their needs. You can also write your property descriptions on home listing websites to ensure you pitch to the right buyers.

  • Post High-Quality Informative content:

Content is king! Always remember that with content, you can contact your potential buyer directly. For creating content, you can do any of the following:

  • Creating informative blog posts
  • Post targeted property listings
  • Put Market Statistics
  • Build a community page
  • Put an engaging and strategized call to action.

You will find a lot of questions that people might have regarding buying a real estate property. You can target all the questions that a particular segment of buyers would have and add your call to action where the buyer provides their contact details.

  • Focus on Continuous Engagement:

Apart from providing high-quality content, you also have to make sure that you keep your buyers engaged because there is high competition. Remember that other real estate agents are competing for your buyer’s attention. As a result, you have to make sure that your buyer is engaged!

You can track the traffic on your postings or blog page; you will find inbuilt analytics for many platforms. If you have your blog, you can use Google Analytics to track your visitor engagement.

  • Follow latest technologies

Technology is advancing daily, and you must follow the latest practices. For example, if your blog pages are slow, the bounce rate might increase, which means the visitor might bounce to any other page without following the desired call to action.

Engage your customers like never before

People are 300% more engaged with 3D virtual tours than 2D images. Business Virtual Tour and 3D photography home interior design can help you create better experiences, happier customers, and more revenue.

  • Become active on social media

You must identify where your target audience spends their time on social media. For example, suppose you want to target business real estate buyers. In that case, you can target your audience over LinkedIn to boost your brand awareness and post on Instagram, Facebook, etc. Also, there are chances that your target audience might be asking questions on your social page, be ready to answer their questions and keep them engaged.

  • Maintain your sales line & prepare for answers

Once you receive client inquiries, you must prepare a sales pipeline. You ensure all your questions are answered and then take regular follow-ups from them.

Also, you have to make sure that you are getting the right kind of inquiries (leads), and if you are not receiving the same, then you need to make changes to your property listings.

  • Digital Marketing Will Take Your Business To the Next level!
